The NDIS encourages participant’s to have a service agreement in place with each of their chosen service providers.  This agreement is a way of setting out the expectations between a participant and their service provider and should include information such as:

Although not mandated by the NDIS, service agreements are not only a great way of setting the expectations between participants and providers, they also act as a great budgeting tool showing  the total cost of the services agreed to.  A service agreement will assist with ensuring the funding allocated in a plan lasts for its duration.  If you have any queries in relation to the cost of services and the impact this will have on your budget.
