Plan management is a type of disability support funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The function of plan management is to assist and support NDIS participants to manage their NDIS plan funding. Plan Management can support participants by:

• Managing participant’s NDIS claims and ensuring that service providers are paid.
• Providing regular statements that show current plan expenditure, including notification of over or under utilisation of approved funding.
• Providing greater choice and control over plan implementation and utilisation by allowing access to unregistered providers.
• Assisting to build understanding of the different categories of funding and individual support items in each category.
